Jordan and I have a lot to be thankful for in 2009. Most importantly we were blessed with a beautiful and healthy baby boy. We are truly blessed and look forward to 2010!
We were able to spend Christmas with our families in Davenport. We ended up heading to Iowa a day early because of bad weather coming but luckily we made it safely with no weather related problems. Looking back on our time in Davenport it pretty much is a blur. We had plans & places to be pretty much the minute we got into town but really enjoyed all of the time we were able to spend with family and friends. Carter really was a trooper and such a good baby for being carted place to place. He did really well with all of the noise and people holding him all of the time. We were told numerous times what a great baby we have. It was really hard to leave since we really don't know the next time we will be back or when we will see family again. But as the saying goes until next time.
We have been enjoying this past week with Jordan being off and it being my last week of maternity leave. I can't believe I have been off for 16 weeks! They have gone by so fast. It is going to be a hard day on Monday and probably month of January a lot of adjustments for us but we are going to get through it! One day at a time.

Steph you are looking so good. Hope you all had a happy new year. I got your message on Facebook. We would gladly buy any diapers from you that dont fit anymore. In a few weeks we will have a little one too so maybe we can get together once he is born and our boys can meet.
