Carter is a little over 4 1/2 months! He is growing so fast. It has been another rough week in our house. Carter had his first trip to the ER on Wednesday night. He started running a fever & when his temp got to 103.9 I called the on call nurse & they told us we should head to the ER since he had RSV 2 weeks prior. We were there for about 4 hours & thank goodness nothing serious was wrong with him. He just caught another virus.
We actually had an appointment with the pediatrician on Thursday for his weight check so it worked out perfect just to double check him. They ran some more blood work, checked him for Influenza and Strep and everything came back fine. Some of the kids were out sick last week at daycare so we are pretty sure he picked this up from them. They started him on another antibiotic for the nasty cough that he has & his fever finally broke this morning. It just breaks my heart to see him sick and I hope this is his last illness for awhile. He really is a trooper and still a happy guy. We are taking it easy and plan on keeping Carter in a "bubble" so he can get better.
Jordan and I are doing ok despite everything that keeps getting thrown at us. But truly are blessed to have Carter as our son
Carter is so close to sitting up by himself & if you look close enough at the third picture you can see his two bottom teeth.
